NAVTEQ Reveals Use of Navigation Systems Has Positive Environmental Impact

A study by NAVTEQ has revealed that drivers who make use of navigation systems achieve a 12% increase in fuel efficiency, as measured by liters of fuel consumed per 100 kms.

This equates to an estimated decrease of 0.91 metric tons in CO2 emissions every year per driver.
