Internet television platform Zattoo has commenced streaming selected channels in high definition in Germany. The offer currently comprises 21 channels, including DSF, MTV, VIVA, TIMM and CNN.
In contrast to the standard definition version, which remains free of charge, the high definition service costs €2 per month, €5 for three months or €20 per year. During the introductory stage, users can trial Zattoo HiQ for one month without a fee.
